My name is Kathy Espino-Perez, and I am a (rising) freshman at Carleton College in Northfield, MN.

The thing that irritates me the most is when I have to explain where Carleton College is, and what kind of college it is. It is a nationally ranked (top 10) liberal arts college. It is known as the Harvard of the Midwest. It is an extremely rigorous and diverse college. I chose it over UCLA and Berkeley because I wanted personalized attention and a big academic push which I did indeed receive. I will be going back in the Fall of 2007 as a sophomore, possible Psychology major, with a concentration in Latin American Studies/Spanish/Bio or Chem.

I am 19 years old, and am originally from California.

I am right handed, although sometimes I wish I were ambidextrous. I am also a health freak, and am SO into nutrition, reading, writing, women's health, among so many other things.

I really really really wish I could become an Obstetrician / Gynecologist, Optometrist, Author, Psychologist (Forensic Psychologist), but not in that order. Although I will be a sophomore, I'm still trying to figure myself out.

I love the Nine Inch Nails, Dresden Dolls, Dirty Sanchez, Regina Spektor among others.
